When SanomaPro approached us to illustrate their new Aapinen, we were beyond thrilled! Aapinen is one of the building blocks of Finnish education and we wanted to make this one extra special. Ystävien Aapinen focuses heavily on emotional and social intelligence and we wanted our characters and the whole world of the book to reflect that. 400 illustrations later, we are super happy with our quirky cast of characters and the bright, cozy world they live in!
